Battle Factory

I have never faced in the battle factory anyone with a pokemon which was not fully evolved(by gen 3 standerds) so con we change his pokemon? Atomix26 21:22, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

What Pokémon can Noland use?

The Pokémon section on this page is worded in a confusing way. The first paragraph states: "Like the player, he uses rental Pokémon. Therefore, all of his Pokémon are random for both the Gold and Silver Symbols, so he can use any Pokémon except for those that are not admissible in the Battle Frontier; these include Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, and Deoxys." So, I interpreted this as saying he can use any Pokémon except Mythicals and special Pokémon. However, that directly contradicts the second paragraph, which says "Noland uses three Pokémon from this list: Battle Frontier (Generation III)/Pokémon (Group 3)" (This needs to be fixed so it's not linking to a redirect, but that's not related to the discussion here.) So...I'm confused as to what Pokémon he can use. Can he use any Pokémon that's allowed in the Battle Frontier? Can he use only the Pokémon from Group 3? Can he use anything that's on the List of Battle Frontier Pokémon in Generation III that's not explicitly stated to be unavailable as a rental Pokémon? Is the list of Pokémon he picks from different between the Silver Symbol and Gold Symbol battles? If anyone has any insights into this, I'm all ears. Storm Aurora (talk) 21:08, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

The link was added after the text, and I think the text is more accurate, because Noland absolutely can use Pokémon outside of Group 3. I have seen plenty of videos that show him using Pokémon not included in it. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 21:37, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

Battle Factory (Generation III)#Factory Head says he can use anything from the round in which he appears, which I believe is correct. For Lv. 50 Silver that's Group 2 set 2, for Lv. 50 Gold and Lv. 100 Silver that's Group 3 set 3, and other fights can use any set from Group 3 (unless prohibited in Lv 50). --Apopheniac (talk) 23:33, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
