Talk:Nintendo 64

Is the "myths" section particularly relevant? After all, this wiki is primarily dedicated to Pokemon; anything else should be basic information. In addition, the whole idea of the section is that it's based on a "popular belief," no evidence of which is given. I like to assume good faith, so I won't share my theory as to why the section was added, but nonetheless it is unnecessary. If anyone disagrees, please let me know, or I will remove it. —Unknownwarrior33 05:41, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I had no idea that was even a "popular belief" and at any rate I dont think its relevant to the article (from our perspective at least, as you said), go ahead and remove it. --ZestyCactus 06:10, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've gone ahead and removed it. Turns out that the page was created with that section. --SnorlaxMonster 06:16, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Pikachu N64

I am in the UK and I own a Pikachu N64. As far as I remember it came bundled with Pokemon Stadium and possibly Snap too. I don't see a mention of a UK/European release or one with Stadium. It came with a controller. It also looks different to the one pictures. It's the blue and yellow one, but instead of saying Pikachu Nintendo 64 on the front and controller the front has the Pokemon logo and "Pikachu Nintendo 64" under it and the controller simply has the Pokemon logo. It also has a small sticker pointing to Pikachu's foot with Ash's face saying "Press here to reset!". I can provide pictures if wanted. I don't think the box is around any longer and I don't know where it was bought, but I remember the box and the fact it was bundled with Stadium clearly. If an image/description on page is wanted I can provide it, but I don't have any information about the time this bundle was released or if Snap was definitely included also. -Stars talk 11:56, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

This page has information about a German release, but I don't speak German so I can't really do anything about it. If someone knows German and could add the info, that would be great. --SnorlaxMonster 06:03, 22 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

What kind of trivia is this?

"The Nintendo 64 is the only Nintendo home console not to be featured in a player's bedroom in a game where that character is playable." Is this trivia referring to core series Pokémon games or that no Nintendo 64 games (Pokémon related or not) had a Nintendo 64 console make a cameo appearance, all cameo appearances were in games released later on GameCube or above? In GSC, Red has an N64 in his room, so they carefully worded it to avoid counting that. (It's possible for Gold to get an N64 to put in their own room, but only by using Mystery Gift.) SadisticMystic (talk) 03:55, 10 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
I was the person who wrote that trivia point, and yes that is correct about Red in GSC. He was not playable in GSC, so that one didn't count. NES & NES are featured in the player's house in Kanto (differs depending on the Generation and whether it is Japanese or English, but they are still represented). GCN is in Brendan & May's rooms in RSE. Wii is in the player's room for all Gen 4 & 5 games. Wii U is in the player's room for XY-SM. Switch is represented from USUM to SV (except Arceus). N64 was the only one not in the bedroom of a current player character. To be fair, I assumed the N64 in Gold/Kris's room was only accessible from Stadium 2?
