Russian name
Her Russian name is Несса Nessa. --Raltseye prata med mej
Nessa's name...
seems, to me, be based of the Loch Ness monster, or Nessie. The Loch Ness monster is a lake monster, correlating to water. Considering the Galar region is speculated to be based off the United Kingdom/Scotland area, I think, and it might be wrong completely, that her name is based off Nessie. Surprised admins haven't done this yet considering we already have info on the Pokémon. Regardless, here's the template if someone who has access wants to add it. It only has info from the demo, which may be inaccurate.

- As a model, it should be expected for Nessa to pose with stuff like people or animals. And we clearly saw her doing exactly that with a Qwilfish. Anything's possible, but nothing was confirmed. Ataro (talk) 20:58, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- I will have to agree that we need verbal confirmation for stuff like this. Just because it shows a little of Nessa's backstory doesn't mean it automatically implies the Pokémon seen with her are hers. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:10, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
