"here should never be any reason why this is confused for the main article. This is pretty much just a subpage". This wasn't about confusion on with the main article, it was more to provide a way to link back to the main article. Also, if it is a subpage, shouldn't it be using a proper subpage format, like "Luxray/TCG"? or maybe be integrated into the main article? Tacopill (talk) 02:00, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- If you wanted to link to the species article you could just link it regularly, since the first word on every species' TCG page is the name of the Pokémon. It shouldn't be merged with the main article because some Pokémon like Charizard would be huge. And why should it be changed to /TCG? We don't use /anime for pages like Brock and Iris. - That way, it is an actual subpage, instead of two pages on two different topics, with the same name. It may need to be activated in the settings, but would automatically have a link at the top of the page, back to the species article. Tacopill (talk) 02:26, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- I will admit that my statement about it being a subpage was incorrect. It simply compliments the main page in a way that provides the cards a simple way to connect to one another though base pages. They are so integrated with one another that I can safely say the pages will never move/split/merge with anything.
- Additionally, each chart starts with the Pokémon's name directly above the "Cards listed with a silver background are legal to use in the current Standard format" statement. The "Luxray" there has always been a link back to the main species page. We include links in the same manner in countless other places: pretty much every single section in the Pokémon Infobox is a similar link, so it shouldn't really be any surprise. Links have always already been there. There isn't a need to change any settings so that there are links everywhere on the pages. It's already provided. MaverickNate 02:36, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- I do apologize, I didn't mean to cause trouble...but I arrived on this page on my phone, and that link wasn't obvious from there. It also isn't obvious from here, on my laptop. I am aware of it now, but not sure everyone who comes here will know it is there. Tacopill (talk) 03:08, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
