Change from disambiguation
I don't think this should be a disambiguation, it should probably just redirect to Lysandre. People will not be typing "L" intending to end up at Unown, nor will they expect a glitch type that just happens to have "L" in it, and the character is referred to by that name rather prominently. - Yeah the other referrals could easily be covered by a hatnote. Landfish7 18:19, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Unown L certainly wouldn't need a hatnote. (I'm not super sure on the glitch type either, but it might make sense.) Nescientist (talk) 18:25, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- A, B, C, G, I, J, M, N, P, Q, R, S, U, V, and X don't make any mention of the unown forms corresponding to those letters, setting the standard that this isn't really relevant as disambiguation. O, Y, and Z do, though.
- either these four pages should have it trimmed, or the other 15 should have it added. lilycove 18:41, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- I would leave a note for the glitch type, since it does directly correspond to this title. As someone semi-avoiding Z-A spoilers, if L is making an effort to hide their identity, definitely don't use a hard redirect. Eragon4 (talk) 22:31, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oh good point. Perhaps a soft redirect would work better. Landfish7 12:05, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Started a draft to this end. Landfish7 13:07, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- While L might be making that effort, I'm not confident that us, as consumers of that media, are intended to be convinced by that effort. Soft redirects are usually reserved for significant plot twists that would damage the player/reader experience if they knew it ahead of time. I think we're kind of meant to realize it's Lysandre. - Yeah, I think the only way someone wouldn't immediately know is if they haven't played X&Y before. Minibug (talk) 15:47, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
