I’m still wondering why we can’t put down that Liko’s Hattrem knows Brutal Swing. Bit of context here, I’ve been building a team from scratch for competitive battling and Hatterene is part of it. Upon Hatenna evolving to Hattrem, it was able to learn brutal swing and on the page for Hattrem under its moves via level up it says Evo (Brutal Swing). We’ve also seen that animation of brutal swing with Ash’s Sirfetch’d so why is it still up for debate about Hattrem knowing Brutal Swing. She’s used the move twice now.

Sadly the animation isn't considered unique enough to confirm it as Brutal Swing, it is slightly different from the animation used when Dot's Tinkatink used it in the previous episode but without dialogue confirming it, it remains unconfirmed for now. Hopefully Hattrem will be used to battle Grusha in a few episodes where the move will be called out, allowing us to identify it.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 19:13, 13 August 2024 (UTC)

Ok. Thanks for telling me the reason. That is honestly a valid reason for it so we have to wait a couple weeks to find out since Liko isn’t having her double battle with Grusha till after Roy vs Ryme Pokemaster124 (talk) 19:16, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
