What?

Anyone know what move this is? *tc26* 13:58, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

That's FeatherDance. Ҝəυzø8 14:00, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation of the name

Is the name "Chatot" pronounced "shah-TOH" or "CHAE-tit"?--Hitmonlee 15:21, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's pronounced "CHA-tot", just like the way it looks. And please, sign your comments with ~~~~ next time. Thanks. SL-samacontribs 15:17, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry.--Hitmonlee 15:21, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's /tʃɑtɔt/ actually...ΘρtιmαtumTalk 15:24, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Er, why would you think it's pronounced like a French word...?—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 05:28, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Spots

Is the backsprite supposed to have black spots on it? The shiny doesn't. YinYang 01:47, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Uh black spots??? o_O; --ケンジガール 01:54, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
No — I just checked and there aren't any black spots on Chatot's backsprite, so what the heck are they doing there. ~ solaris 03:41, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
The only thing I can think of is that that image was originally a .GIF. GIFs occasionally do weird things like that.—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 19:48, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Looks like another oddity from the original sprite rip. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 20:50, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Chatot's cry

So.. I'm kinda wondering how someone can get "Chatot" out of its cry. If anything I'm hearing "Perappu~", but I didn't want to change the trivia (such as removing it altogether or altering it) to see if anyone hears "Chatot" (or if they can hear what I can) in its name. So um.. am I insane or should the trivia section be changed? And am I making any sense? ▫▪Ťïňắ 04:41, 22 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Someone misunderstood what I put on the cry page. I said Chatot says its name as its cry. People just assumed I meant it said "Chatot". The problem has been fixed. --ケンジガール 20:49, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

The cry trivia

This is very different from the others. Clefairy's and Togepi's cries are made of old sound bytes from the GB and can be hard to understand. Chatot's cry is clear as a bell and it was made with a more advance sound system. Therefor it should be an exception. Anyone who thinks it's an opinion can't hear correctly. That's like saying that Baron Alberto's outfit looking like Lickilicky is an opinion. --ケンジガール 20:52, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I don't hear a t sound at the end, and I'm not at all certain that there's a ch sound at the beginning. Wouldn't it all be a big hokey coincidence anyway given that the cry existed before the English name was created? (Also, I was fairly certain he was dressed like a Murkrow...) —darklordtrom 20:59, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
It says "Perapuu"... That's what I meant. --ケンジガール 20:59, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Should have checked the talk page before I tested, huh.... but no. —darklordtrom 22:31, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry for bumping something so old but... Seriously, if you can't hear it you must be deaf or something. I think you're just being contrary because you didn't notice it. Chatot's cry very VERY clearly sounds like "Perapuu". Very few Pokémon cries in-game sound like the Pokémon's name, but this one sounds almost exactly like it and it's clearly intentional. The artwork

Isn't that the artwork in the article is from Platinum? Because the artwork is showing a Chatot with squinted eyes, much like from Platinum than from Diamond and Pearl. Harv13 (talk page) 05:37, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

The art from Diamond and Pearl showed it with squinty eyes first. --ケンジガール 05:39, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I see. Thanks for informing me. Harv13 (talk page) 05:41, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Phisiology

Is it worth notin in the phisiology that Chatot has a tounge extremely similar to that of a human? ★☆Togetic45☆★ 19:47, 16 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hidden Ability

I think there's a mistake here. This says that Chatot has the Hidden Ability Big Pecks, but Pokémon X & Pokémon Y: The Official Kalos Region Pokédex & Postgame Adventure Guide says that Chatot has no Hidden Ability. Mangaman13 (talk) 13:22, 24 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Chatot had that hidden Ability when there was Dream World and when found in a Hidden Grotto. Either it is an error in that guide or Chatot cannot be obtained with a hidden Ability in Gen VI. Berrenta (talk) 13:33, 24 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
