Sprite

If she's a little girl, why does she use/is there the Gold sprite? Does she use a different sprite?--KukiTalk 18:48, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Probably for the same reason that the female player character in Crystal appears as Gold when battling her in Gold or Silver--the coding for the Trainer House just doesn't allow for anything else except for the generic player character sprite. Not sure how fruitful speculation on why it's coded that way would be, but my guesses include they weren't thinking about Stadium 2's Mystery Gift or Crystal when they were doing the coding, or they just didn't want to have to go through all the hassle of having to have the game juggle more than one sprite around, perhaps pulling trainer data from the file of another game was a large amount of work in itself (you have to remember that GSC were probably some of the largest and most complex GB/GBC games ever created). HGSS?

As I understand it, players must connect their GSC game with a Transfer Pak to their N64 and use Mystery Gift in Pokémon Stadium 2 with Carrie, in order to meet her in their GSC game. Since you can not do that with HGSS, I'd say it's impossible for her to be in those games. TorNyan (talk) 18:46, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

How do we know this?

I quote the article:

Now, I've never played Pokémon Stadium 2, but how do we know that? Also, this might not be relevant on this article, but if she really is a frequent visitor of the Goldenrod Department Store, I think that she should be mentioned on that article.TorNyan (talk) 18:50, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Serebii is another fan site, thus is unreliable. We can't use Serebii as a source, for they may have gotten things incorrect. If you have an official source, okay. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 19:28, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

If you did a little bit of checking, you'd see that she is mentioned on the Goldenrod Department Store page, just not by name nor linked. A quick look at the Mystery Gift page would also show you that she unlocks the function. _glik^glak 19:46, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Stadium 2's Mystery Gift says "Get a Mystery Gift from the girl at Goldenrod Dept. Store" and I assume she says something as well. Unfortunately, you can't access Mystery Gift without a game in the Transfer Pak, so I can't actually check myself. _glik^glak 22:40, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

This one I ripped from an in-game screenshot I found on Serebii.net (which I realize may ring a warning bell, but the outcome would be exactly the same even if I took the screenshot myself).
