Unnamed recurring background characters
Was reading over at Pokémemes, someone discovered a pair of background characters who recurred 2005..present. Not sure if this is noteworthy or already listed somewhere, this is the closest article I know of to document it. --TruePikachu (talk) 22:49, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- Those are the mother and daughter who have made some reoccurring appearances in the movies. Technically, they won't count as anime recycling characters. PattyMan 23:18, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

Horizons characters Liko's homeroom teacher and Mitchell
Not sure how alike these two are to their lookalikes, I can't really see their resemblance. Also, the Mitchell lookalike looks more like Master Mayonnaise in disguise. Thespeon196 (talk) 16:05, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
- The similarities between Liko's homeroom teacher and the background character are remote at best. The Mitchell lookalike seems a bit more believable, though they're not exactly a spitting image. Landfish7 16:30, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
- If there's any resemblance between the teacher and background character, it's the clothes. Facial features wise, I don't really see any resemblance to call the latter a lookalike. As for the Mitchell lookalike, I also thought it's Master Mayonnaise in disguise, especially since the ending animation had him meeting with Count Oyster and Shōyu.
