Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art Secret card in the Champion's Path expansion, first released in the Japanese Explosive Walker subset. Both prints feature artwork by Ryo Ueda. The Regular print was reprinted in the Japanese Silver Lance & Jet-Black Spirit Jumbo Pack Set as a Mirror Holofoil card.

Origin
Pokémon Sword & Shield introduced Bob's Food Tin and Bach's Food Tin, canned foods that are used as ingredients for making curry. Suspicious Food Tin may be based on these ingredients, though the concept of it being Psychic themed is original.
