Squirtle (Japanese: ゼニガメ Zenigame) is a Water-type Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua expansion.
Card text
As long as Squirtle has any Energy cards attached to it, damage done to Squirtle by an opponent's attack is reduced by 10 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

Release information
This card was released in the English EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua expansion, first originating as one of the Japanese ADV-P Promotional cards. In Japan, this card was released through a Meiji Chocolate campaign in February 2004. It was later released as part of a McDonald's promotional campaign in 2006 with new artwork by Atsuko Nishida. This print was released in English in POP Series 4.
