Klink (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

* In Generation V games, Klink's battle animation shows that its faces spin at a greater speed than its gear teeth.

** This is inconsistent with its evolutions, whose gears and faces rotate at equal speeds.

Klink is based on a pair of interlocking gears, more specifically either {{wp|Gear#Spur|spur}}, {{wp|Gear#Helical|helical}}, or {{wp|herringbone gear}}s. The Klink line's {{Shiny}} coloration may have been based on {{wp|copper}} gears, since their noses have turned green as copper does when it oxidizes into such compounds as {{wp|copper carbonate}}, forming a patina. Klink also resembles the simplest concept of the perpetual motion machine, as it is just two gears that repeatedly spin each other.
