He has also defeated the [[Orange League]] and [[Battle Frontier (Generation III)|Kanto's Battle Frontier]]. He's currently traveling through [[Unova]] with [[#Lila|Lila]].<br>Maxy is specialized in capturing Pokémon with "rare [[move]]s", meaning moves that the Pokémon cannot usually learn or moves that notably differ from the Pokémon's [[type|type(s)]]. After fulfilling his goal, he started traveling through [[Kanto]] and challenge the eight [[Gym Leader]]s. After this he competed in the [[Indigo Plateau Conference]], and was ranked to Top 4. After the conference, he briefly returned home, where he heard about Unova, and decided to head there in order to catch all of the region's starter Pokémon. On the way, he also decided to enter the Unova League.<br>Fred is a very powerful Trainer, as he has been able to capture and tame the [[legendary beasts]]. He caught them to "thank" them for saving his grandfathers from perils, saying that now it was his turn to protect them. However, he soon realized that he couldn't keep them in his team without attracting too much attention, and gave them away.  

*Fred caught and gave these Pokémon for a girl for playmates, as her Turtwig had [[evolution|evolved]] into a Grotle, which was too big to her house. In exchange, Fred got the {{tt|Grotle|The one which he didn't evolve.}}.

Although they are friends, they also consider each other as worthy rivals. She usually moves around by {{m|fly}}ing on the back of her Charizard "Charles".

*I was thinking about {{wp|Fred Weasley}} from {{wp|Harry Potter}} when I came up with Fred's name.
