Phys Hit: Defense ↓2 (Japanese: 物理攻撃時防御２↓Defense Reduced by Two Stat Ranks During Physical Attack) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands a physical move on the target, it has a chance of lowering the target's Defense by two stat ranks. The skill can range from Phys Hit: Defense ↓2 1 to Phys Hit: Defense ↓2 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Phys Hit: Defense ↓2 9 will always lower the target's Defense by two stat ranks. Currently, only Phys Hit: Defense ↓2 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
