Sun & Moon Series
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art Secret card in the Sun & Moon expansion, first released in the Japanese Collection Moon. Both prints feature artwork by Toyste Beach. In Japan, the Regular print was released in the Sun & Moon Starter Set and Premium Trainer Box simultaneously on December 9, 2016. The Regular print was later reprinted in the Japanese Tapu Bulu-GX Enhanced Starter Set, GX Battle Boost subset (as a Mirror Holofoil), Solgaleo-GX & Lunala-GX Legendary Starter Set, Ultra Sun expansion, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Premium Trainer Box, Ultra Moon Deck Build Box, in each of the GX Starter Decks, in each of the Eevee-GX Starter Sets, in the Tag Team GX Premium Trainer Box, in both Trainer Battle Decks, and in the Tag Team GX Deck Build Box. It was reprinted with different artwork by Ryo Ueda in the Japanese GG End subset.
Scarlet & Violet Series
During the Scarlet & Violet Series, this card was reprinted in the Japanese Scarlet ex expansion as both a Regular card and hyper rare, each with new artwork by Toyste Beach. In Japan, the Regular print was also included in each of the three ex Starter Sets and the Premium Trainer Box ex. These prints feature the updated Trainer card layout introduced with the Scarlet & Violet expansion, as well as the updated text for Item cards introduced during the Sword & Shield Series. The Regular print was reprinted as an SV-P Promotional card with the collection number 015/SV-P and was one of nine possible cards included in special packs sent to Event Organizers in January 2023 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.
In Japan, it was reprinted again in the ex Starter Set Pikachu ex & Pawmot, in three of the ex Start Decks, the Ruler of the Black Flame Deck Build Box, in both Terastal Starter Sets, the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex, the Shiny Treasure ex subset, in both Starter Deck & Build Sets, in both Battle Master Decks, in the Stellar Miracle Deck Build Box, in both Stellar Tera Type Starter Sets, and in the Generations Start Decks. The Shiny Treasure ex release prompted a reprint being included in the Paldean Fates expansion.
It was also reprinted as another SV-P Promotional card, this time with the collection number 125/SV-P, and was one of seven cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 5, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from January 26, 2024.[1] This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

Origin
The Nest Ball is a type of Poké Ball introduced in Generation III that works better on weaker Pokémon.
