Release information

This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art ultra rare card in the Mega Evolution expansion, first released in the Japanese Mega Symphonia expansion. Both prints feature artwork by AYUMI ODASHIMA.

In Japan, the Regular print of this card is reprinted in the MEGA Starter Set Mega Diancie ex. It was also reprinted in the Ascended Heroes special expansion, originating from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset.

Rulings

  • Players cannot use Mystery Garden to discard an Energy card if they can't draw any cards afterward. These include, but are not limited to, the following situations:[1][2]
    • If the player has no Psychic-type Pokémon in play.
    • If the player's deck runs out of cards.
    • If the player has more cards in their hand than they have Psychic-type Pokémon in play.
  • Conversely, if a player uses Mystery Garden and discards an Energy card from their hand, that player can't choose to not draw cards from their deck.[1]
