List of nonstandard species plurals

The nonstandard species plurals are incorrect plurals of Pokémon species used in official Pokémon media. They are usually found in media from early generations, including animated series episodes and Pokémon cards.
The correct plural form of a Pokémon species is invariant, as in "two Pikachu".
In the core series games
Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow
- "Digletts" is mentioned by a Gambler on Route 11 in all Generation I games,[1] and also in Onix's Pokédex entry from Pokémon Yellow.[2]
- Magneton's Pokédex entry in Red and Blue refers to "several Magnemites linked together".[3]
- Weezing's Pokédex entry in Red and Blue refers to "2 Koffings".[4]
Pokémon Sun and Moon
- Samson Oak refers to "Persians" when requesting to be shown its Alolan form.[5]
In spin-off games
Pokémon Conquest
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
- Wailord's trophy description in the North American version uses the plural "Wailords". This error is not present in the European/Oceanian version, which simply uses "Wailord".
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon
- One of the dungeons that can be accessed through Meowth Theater is called "For a Few Boldores More".
