Hunker Down (Japanese: 防御成功時防御アップ Defense Boost When Defense is Successful) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
After the Pokémon leaves a defensive posture after nullifying damage from an opponent's attack move, it has a chance of raising its Defense by one stat rank. This skill can range from Hunker Down 1 to Hunker Down 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a greater chance of raising the Pokémon's Defense. Hunker Down 9 will always raise the Pokémon's Defense. Currently, only Hunker Down 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs.
