The Hoenn Rangers Coexistence Force (Japanese: 共存戦隊ホウエンジャー Coexistence Squadron Hōenger) is a team of local heroes in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Overview
The team was made by TV Mauville. They used to be popular in Hoenn until Pokémon Contest Spectaculars began to emerge and have since then been largely forgotten. Old action figures can still be found on sale around Hoenn. Their motto is "We fight for the peaceful coexistence of Pokémon, nature, and people!"
Members
The heroes are as follows (with locations of these descriptions in parentheses):
- Littleroot Crimson, a brave but laid-back hero (Slateport Market)
- Mauville Yellow, a powerful yet absentminded hero (TV Mauville)
- Rustboro Ivory, a sensitive and smart heroine (Weather Institute 1F)
- Fallarbor Bordeaux, a quick-moving but pessimistic hero (Lilycove Department Store 1F)
- Lilycove Viridian, a heroine who is able to fly through the sky—yet suffers a fear of heights (Lilycove Department Store Rooftop)
- Pacifidlog Cobalt, a self-conscious but cool heroine (Mossdeep Space Center)
Trivia
- The group is likely a reference to the long-running Japanese superhero franchise Super Sentai, adapted outside Japan as the Power Rangers series.
- Upon defeating the Team MagmaOR/AquaAS Grunts in Mossdeep Space Center, one of them mentions his aspiration to become a Hoenn Ranger in the future.
- The Hoenn Rangers are mentioned by Steven during the Summer Superstars story event in Pokémon Masters EX when he spots an action figure at the Sync Pair Music Festival.
