Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands an attack on the target, it has a chance of increasing the user and its allies' Defense and Sp. Def by one stat rank each. The skill can range from Hit: Team Defense ↑ & Sp. Def ↑ 1 to Hit: Team Defense ↑ & Sp. Def ↑ 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Hit: Team Defense ↑ & Sp. Def ↑ 9 will always increase the user and its allies' Defense and Sp. Def. Currently, only Hit: Team Defense ↑ & Sp. Def ↑ 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
