Release information
This card was included in the Sword & Shield expansion with artwork by Kagemaru Himeno, first released in the Japanese Shield expansion. A SWSH Black Star Promotional print of this card was one of the Prerelease promos for Sword & Shield with new artwork by kirisAki, available in the Sword & Shield Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing the event. The Sword & Shield print was the League Challenge promo awarded during the Sword & Shield Season. These prints are Parallel Holofoil, have either "1st Place", "2nd Place", "3rd Place", or "4th Place" stamps in the bottom left corner of the artwork, and the League Challenge logo in the bottom right.
It was reprinted as a Full Art Secret card with different artwork by PLANETA Tsuji in the Rebel Clash expansion, first released in the Japanese VMAX Rising subset. The SWSH Promotional print was later included in the Japanese Shiny Star V subset, as was a new print with artwork by Akira Komayama featuring the Shiny version of Frosmoth. A Non Holofoil version of the Sword & Shield print was included in the Japanese Rapid Strike Premium Trainer Box. The Sword & Shield and Shiny prints were later included in the Shining Fates expansion. The Sword & Shield print was reprinted, alongside a new Full Art Secret card with artwork by aoki featuring Melony, in the Japanese VMAX Climax subset. The Full Art Secret print was later included in the Astral Radiance expansion.
