The Fake Rising Volt Tacklers

The (Japanese: 偽ライジングボルテッカーズ Fake Rising Volteccers) are characters of the day who appeared in HZ138. They are a family of four and fans of the Rising Volt Tacklers that dress to resemble their likenesses and go around helping people and Pokémon. Their only known Pokémon are from Pikachu's evolutionary line.

The mother dresses up as Liko, the father dresses up as Dot, the son dresses up as Roy, and the baby dresses up as Ult's Sableye.

History

The Fake Rising Volt Tacklers are a family of four that began to cosplay Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult's Sableye after the son learned about their exploits in Laqua, following the epilogue of HZ136. During the period when the real Rising Volt Tacklers were resting, the family went around doing good actions for the benefit of people and Pokémon, which led to some confusing them for the real group.

Once the real Rising Volt Tacklers learned about this, they decided to check the truth out for themselves and met the family. Both parties then agreed to mark the occasion with a four-on-four Multi Battle, which ended in favor of the real group, despite the mother and father revealing to be capable of Mega Evolving their Raichu. It was also revealed that the two of them were Ace Trainers in the past and even competed in a Pokémon League. Upon learning that they had been mistaken for the real Rising Volt Tacklers, they apologized, but that real Rising Volt Tacklers assured them that there was no need for them to stop cosplaying as their heroes.
