Release information

This tag was available as part of the Triple Dragon Campaign, which saw three different tags become available at participating stores with a Pokémon Mezastar machine during May 2021. Dragapult was given away on the weekend of May 15 and 16; the giveaway was limited to children in elementary school and below on the first day and open to all ages on the second. The premise of the campaign was to give new players tags featuring Pokémon with a type advantage over Eternatus, one of the focal Pokémon of the fourth set.[1] It was subsequently given away to people visiting the Mezastudio Kawasaki, a dedicated Pokémon Mezastar area of the Namco arcade at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza, Kawasaki, Kanagawa on the weekend of April 30 and May 1, 2022. The venue hosted Trainer Tag Battle with Two People events under the banner "Mezastudio Kawasaki: The 1st Battle" throughout the weekend.[2]

The tag was available again at the 2023 Japan Amusement Expo, which was held at the Makuhari Messe convention center on February 10 and 11, 2023. People visiting Mezastar Corner at the Marvelous booth on February 11 could try Get in Battle Free Trial mode on a first come, first served basis. Those who participated were given a copy of this tag. Visitors were also given a number of free gifts for as long as stocks lasted: a promotional Keldeo tag, a Mezastar TV sticker set, and a Pokémon Mezastar Special Shopper bag containing a Trial Memory tag ticket. All giveaways were limited to one per person.[3] Mezastar Navigators Ai and J were also in attendance on February 11 to provide demonstrations and entertainment.
