Haruka and Mudkip (chamo!)
(Japanese: ハルカとミズゴロウちゃも Haruka and Mudkip (chamo!)) is the second chapter of the Pokémon Chamo-Chamo ☆ Pretty ♪ manga.
Plot
Torchic, Poochyena, Pikachu, and Clefairy find Haruka feeding Pokéblocks to a Mudkip. Haruka introduces herself to the Pokémon, but Torchic warns them not to try her Pokéblocks. Haruka asserts that Mudkip had eaten all of the ones she had given it, and Mudkip attests to their great taste, encouraging the others to try them. Seeing the Pokémon enjoy the Pokéblocks, Torchic apologizes for doubting Haruka's baking skills, then decides to try one for herself.
Torchic instantly recoils from the taste, yelling out that it is horrible. Poochyena suggests to Torchic that the issue must be her own taste buds, and the two begin to bicker. Mudkip then points out that a Pokémon's preference in Pokéblock flavors must have something to do with their personalities, explaining that is why Poochyena likes them and Torchic does not.
Haruka starts making several different types of Pokéblocks. Pikachu and Clefairy both find ones they like, but Torchic is disgusted by all of them. Haruka gives Torchic the last one she has, and to Torchic's surprise, she loves it. Poochyena concludes that Mudkip and Torchic must have opposite personalities.
Mudkip suddenly collapses, and it is revealed that it had a stomach ache for several days afterward, leading it to develop a dislike for Pokéblocks.
