Bamboozling Retaliation (Japanese: 被攻撃時相手に特防↓Special Defense Reduction on Opponent When Attacked) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon is attacked by an opponent, it has a chance of lowering the target's Sp. Def by one stat rank. The skill can range from Bamboozling Retaliation 1 to Bamboozling Retaliation 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Bamboozling Retaliation 9 will always lower the target's Sp. Def. Currently, only Bamboozling Retaliation 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the opposing Pokémon's attack moves except sync moves and max moves.
