Reason: Lacking the 2014 McDonald's Promotion for France and Japan; Missing toy images.
A Happy Meal carton advertising the promotion
The 2014 McDonald's promotional Pokémon toys were a set of toys distributed at McDonald's restaurants in 2014. Each toy came with one of twelve TCG cards of the McDonald's Collection 2014; each card is holographic and has an M (for McDonald's) in the bottom right of the picture.
The United States distribution ran from May 23 to June 12, 2014. In Canada, the distribution began on August 28, 2014 and has since ended. In Canada, each toy came with two cards. The distribution also ran in Australia throughout August and September. A different toy was available each week, but excluded the Blastoise, Venusaur, Charizard, and Mewtwo figures from the promotion.
All 12 toys advertised on the Happy Meal website
All of the toys function the same way. They are formed to play out as a rock paper scissors game. On every toy, there is a turner to change the symbol of an circle, triangle or square. When placing the Pokémon inside the Poké Ball, one can squeeze the ball and shoot the Pokémon outward. The winner is determined by what shape they picked.
Using the McDonald's McPlay Power mobile app, toys based on characters such as Pikachu, Venusaur, Froakie, Chespin, Xerneas, and Charizard can be scanned to unlock mini-games.
The toys were accompanied by a random card from the McDonald's Collection 2014.
