Zackie is a little boy from Violet City and the Character of the day in EP130. He attends Earl's Pokémon Academy. Zackie saw Ash's Pikachu and immediately fought with another student over it, yanking on Pikachu under the mistaken thought it was wild. He accused Ash of being a loser for not winning first place in the Indigo League and tried to convince Pikachu to leave Ash for him, then stole him when Pikachu refused. He stole a Pokéball from Ash to try to capture Pikachu but caught a wild Bellsprout instead. Zackie attempted to trade Pikachu for Bellsprout, but Ash refused of course and Bellsprout later grew on Zackie.
