People wishing to take part in the campaign were required to affix barcodes from 2 of the 3 Battle Strength Decks to an application postcard included in the April 2011 issue of ''[[CoroCoro Comic]]'', released on March 18, 2011, and send it to CoroCoro. The application period was open until May 9, 2011. Every applicant received 2 copies of an exclusive Battle Strength Deck Case and 1,000 applicants selected by lottery received 2 copies each of this print plus promotional prints of {{TCG ID|BW-P Promo|Terrakion|38}} and {{TCG ID|BW-P Promo|Cobalion|37}}. Both Japanese prints are Reverse Cracked Ice Holofoil.

In Japan, it was reprinted as one of the BW-P Promotional cards with new artwork by the same artist and was part of a 3-card set available through the Battle Strength Campaign.
