Professor Burnet's Munchlax (Japanese: バーネット博士 ゴンベ Dr. Burnet's Gonbe) is Professor Burnet's first known Pokémon.
History
Munchlax first appeared alongside Professor Burnet in SM044 during a video where Professor Burnet had received an award for Lady of the Year in Alola.
Munchlax next appeared in SM046, when Ash and his classmates visited the Aether Paradise and spotted Professor Burnet and Munchlax as they came out of the water having been scuba diving.
Munchlax joined Professor Burnet when they visited Professor Kukui's house for a sleepover during SM048 where it prompted ate all the food that had been prepared before falling asleep.
Munchlax accompanied its trainer to the Altar of the Sunne only to be attacked by the Ally Hakamo-o and Jangmo-o before they were rescued by Professor Kukui and his Braviary.
Personality and characteristics
Like many Munchlax, Professor Burnet's Munchlax is shown to be a big eater as shown in SM048 where it promptly ate all the food that had been prepared. Munchlax is shown to be a fan of its evolution Snorlax as evident when it watched Oluolu's Snorlax on TV in SM048.
Munchlax is shown to have a bond with its trainer as shown when it goes scuba diving with her.
