Truant (Japanese: なまけ Lazy) is an ability introduced in Generation III that causes the user to only move every other turn. Only two Pokémon have this ability, both in the same evolutionary line.
In Mystery Dungeon, the Pokémon will instead gain the Paused status whenever a special move or a Wonder Orb is used.
