Super Luck (Japanese: きょううん Good Luck) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Three Pokémon have this ability, all of which are Template:Type2.

Effect

In battle

Super Luck enables the user to critical hit twice as often as normal. The critical hit multiplier is applied before critical hit bonuses from items, so item modifiers are not doubled.

Outside of battle

Super Luck has no effect outside of battle.

Pokémon with Super Luck

Single ability

No Pokémon have Super Luck as their only ability.

Trivia

  • Due to a translation error when the ability was first revealed, the effect was believed to allow the foe to critical hit twice as often, not the user.
