Silver Trench is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Once all the Legendary Birds have been recruited, this dungeon may be unlocked for exploration after the Vortex Stone is obtained. A Water Pokémon with the move Dive or the HM Dive is required to initially enter the dungeon.

There are 99 floors in Silver Trench, the last floor of which is where Lugia awaits, with the moves Whirlwind, Gust, and Safeguard. Unlike most Legendary Pokémon, Lugia has a 99.9% base recruitment rate and can be recruited on the first try.
