Rod (Japanese: リュウドー Ryūdō) is the fourth Grand Master. He plays using the Legendary Dragonite Deck (Japanese: でんせつのドラゴンデッキ Legendary Dragon Deck). In Pokémon Card GB 2, he uses the レジェンドドラゴンデッキ Legend Dragon Deck as well as the だいドラゴンデッキ Great Dragon Deck.

Since the start of the game, Rod was kidnapped by Great Rocket and held imprisoned in the Psychic Fort. When being freed by the main player after defeating *name of opponent to be defeated*, he will give away a Dragonite.

Later on, he is an opponent in the Pokémon Dome, where he will give away one of the Legendary cards: Dragonite.
