Revenge (Japanese: リベンジ Revenge) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
Revenge deals damage, but if the user takes damage in the same turn, Revenge's power is doubled to 120. Revenge is a decreased priority move, causing the user to attack after other Pokémon that are using ordinary priority moves.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
Similar to bide, the user will store energy for a few turns and then release the energy to inflict damage, the amount of damage equals to the amount the user received during the "charging". The move will fail if the opposing Pokémon doesn't attack, if the user is under certain statuses like sleep or paralyze, or if the user faints.

Trivia
- Misconceptions led many to believe that Revenge was a normal (non-priority) move in Generation III. Why this is the case is unknown, but the move has always been decreased priority, and is entirely provable.
