This card was reprinted in the {{TCG|"PCG-P" Promotional cards}} set with the same artwork.  
This card was released in the English {{TCG|EX Deoxys}} expansion, originating as one of the Japanese {{TCG|PCG-P Promotional cards}}. In Japan, it was awarded to participants of the regional Summer 2005 Battle Road tournaments that progressed from the preliminary round. An exclusive Cosmos Holofoil print of this card was included in the English {{TCG|Jetstream}} {{TCG|Theme Deck}}. Two special variants were later released: one as a participation prize for the 2004-2005 Gym Challenge, and one as a giveaway at participating {{wp|McDonald's}} restaurants in Germany leading up to the {{DL|Pokémon Day (Germany)|Pokémon Day 2005|Pokémon Day 2005}} events, held in several cities across the country between September 24 and October 9, 2005. The card distribution took place roughly 2 weeks before the Pokémon Day events at select McDonald's restaurants in the vicinity of the host locations. Both variants feature the respective event logos, and the Pokémon Day variant is only available in German.

This card was released in the English EX Deoxys expansion, originating as one of the Japanese PCG-P Promotional cards.
