Professor Jacuzzi (Japanese: シャクジイ博士 Dr. Shakujii) is a character of the day who appeared in Gulpin it Down! His Japanese voice actor is 渡部猛 Takeshi Watabe.

Professor Jacuzzi's job was to stop all the Gulpin from eating all of the town's food supplies. The professor’s first plan involves a giant Pokéblock to lead the Gulpin away. However, Team Rocket ends up stealing the Pokéblock and the Gulpin chase them out of town. The Gulpin then try to escape through the sewer and emerge onto the street. Professor Jacuzzi arrives with a device that beams them up and shoots them away, but it breaks down with one Gulpin left to go after accidentally getting Ash's Treecko with the last Gulpin. Gulpin used Spit Up, which reacted with the particles and made both Pokémon become building sized.

Professor Jacuzzi's Gulpin
Gulpin
This Gulpin first appeared among a large swarm of Gulpin that appeared in Gulpin it Down!. When Professor Jacuzzi used his particle cannon to rid the city of the Gulpin, this Gulpin was the last one remaining. However, at that point, the professor's machine broke down. Once he gets it working again, however, he accidentially absorbs Ash's Treecko, along with the Gulpin, as the two were battling at the time. Inside the machine, Gulpin attacks Treecko with Spit Up, which overloads the device and causes it to explode. As a result, Treecko and Gulpin are freed from the machine, albeit having grown to gargantuan proportions. Treecko and Gulpin duke it out in the city, until Professor Jacuzzi attempts to catch it. He first uses a regular Poké Ball, but it fails. He then throws a Heavy Ball, which succeeds in catching the gigantic Pokémon. Although certain that catching it would have returned it to normal size, the professor discovers upon sending out his newest Pokémon that it was still giant. Although he promised Ash and his friends that he would find a way to return Gulpin to its normal size, to this day it is unknown if he has succeeded.

Gulpin's known moves are Sludge, Stockpile, and Spit Up.
