The Pal Pad is a Key Iten that the player gets from a lady at the Wi-Fi Club localised at the basement of the Pokémon Center after obtained the Coal Badge of the games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl for Nintendo DS.
The Pal Pad has the function of register your friends from the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and show your info. It also can be used to register the Friend Code and the name of someone that you'd like to be your friend.
You'll be able to battle and trade Pokémon with your friends from the pal pad over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
