Pal Pad in Platinum can be obtained before getting the Coal Badge but can only be used at the Pokemon center in Oreburgh until after obtaining the first gym badge. I know this for a fact as I recently obtained it and got 3 Pokemon from a friend via the Pal Pad registration.--Lycos Ex Mortis 15:24, 20 April 2010 (UTC) Why not add it? Help?

On my Black Version game, I had 2 friends registered. They suddenly disappeared from my Friend Roster one day. Does anyone know why? KyuremsIceBlade (talk) 15:37, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

If you change the DS system you connect to the internet with, your Pal Pad will be wiped. Also, if you use System Transfer to transfer data from a DSi to a 3DS, the 3DS then becomes the console you need to connect your game to the internet with rather than the DSi. --SnorlaxMonster 15:40, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
