Misty's Corsola
Corsola (Japanese: サニーゴ Sunnygo) was the second Pokémon acquired by Misty in the Johto region and her ninth total.
Ash, Misty, and Brock were traveling through the Whirl Islands in the oceans of Johto when Professor Elm showed off his Corsola. Seeing it made Misty desire one.
Later, on Yellow Rock Island, they met a family who raised Corsola to make jewelry out of their shed body parts. In fact, their house was even built on a colony of coral Pokémon. However, a wild Corsola came along, invaded the ranch, and started to bother the trained Corsola, causing them to flee. Eventually, all of the Corsola were recovered, and Misty caught the aggressive wild one with a Lure Ball she got from Kurt.
Misty's Corsola seems to have a stubborn and aggressive personality. She used it a lot in Johto, and continues to use it regularly in Gym Battles in her role as Gym Leader of Cerulean City.
