Mewtwo Strikes Back (Japanese: ミュウツーの逆襲 Mewtwo Strikes Back) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. It was released as a promotional card in Japan only.

You may have each player search his or her deck for any number of Basic Pokémon or Evolution cards. Each player shows those cards to his or her opponent, then puts them into his or her hand. Any player who did this shuffles his or her deck afterward. You can't use this power if Mewtwo Strikes Back is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.

Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with the May 1998 issue of CoroCoro Comic. The card was never released in English.

Trivia

  • The card text on the top right of the card border reads: "special jumbo card".
  • The card text on the bottom of the card border features the CoroCoro logo and reads: "Monthly CoroCoro Comics: May issue supplement. For how to play, read about the Pokémon club on page 138!!"
  • This card was released as a Jumbo card and was therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
