Klutz (Japanese: ぶきよう Clumsy) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Three Pokémon have this ability, two of them from the same evolutionary line.

Effect

In battle

Klutz prevents the use of held items. The ability disables the battle effect of the held item, rather than preventing an item from being held. Items which affect experience or effort values, such as the Lucky Egg or the Power Weight, can still be used. The speed drop from the Iron Ball is not negated by Klutz.

Outside of battle

Klutz has no effect outside of battle.

Pokémon with Klutz

Single ability

No Pokémon have Klutz as their only ability.
