Jessie's Lickitung
Jessie's Lickitung (Japanese: Musashi's Lickitung) was the second Pokémon Jessie appears with in Kanto; Jessie captures Lickitung in a fit of rage after it eats all her food and temporarily paralyzes her Arbok. Lickitung is the first Pokémon Jessie caputures, and the first Pokémon Team Rocket captures in the anime.
Lickitung makes its first appearance and has its most central role in Princess Versus Princess. Lickitung is Jessie's forgotten weapon in the finals of the Queen of the Princesses contest against Misty. After stunningly defeating a borrowed Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Vulpix with its effective Lick, Lickitung is defeated by Psyduck ending Jessie's run in the contest.
Jessie used Lickitung rather sparingly for the rest of its time under her possession, making the pink Pokémon her second option. It most often appears along side Arbok, Weezing and Victreebel when Jessie and James team their four Pokémon for battle.
Lickitung, much like James' Victreebel, shows its affection for its trainer rather openly. Lickitung licks Jessie's face on several occassions, but not nearly as many times as the running gag of Victreebel latching onto James' head.
In Tricks of the Trade Lickitung is accidently traded by Jessie to a trainer named Benny for his Wobbuffet in a commotion at the Pokémom Swap Meet. As Team Rocket's scheme to steal Pokémon with a rigged trading device is discovered by the crowd, Lickitung's Pokéball drops into the trading machine and is swapped with Benny's Pokéball already in the machine. Jessie soon realizes the trade when she sends Lickitung out to battle Ash and the docile Wobbuffet emerges instead.
Lickitung is seen living happily ever after with Benny towards the end of this episode, and Benny tells Ash and friends to "thank the lady who traded him Lickitung". Lickitung and Benny have not been seen since in the anime.
