Jimmy Zoppi
Jimmy Zoppi is a voice actor for the English-language dub of the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Zoppi was born March 8, 1954 in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
Zoppi currently lives in Westwood, New Jersey with two of his children. Besides voice acting, he's also a musician. He plays bass, electric guitar, keyboards and drums.
Pokémon roles
Zoppi was one of the original actors on the anime. Aside from his role as Gary Oak, he mainly played characters of the day until Pokémon: Battle Frontier, when Pokémon USA took over the dub. Currently he is credited as Billy Beach and provides the voices of James and Meowth from Team Rocket and Professor Oak. He remains one of the longest running voice actors for the English dub next to Kayzie Rogers.
