Release information
This card was first presented to Yuu Nishida, the winner of the Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix, at a ceremony held during the 2019 Pokémon Japan Championships on June 8, 2019. Unlike previous illustration competitions, in which winners were given multiple standard copies of cards featuring their artwork, only one oversized version was presented to the winner. It has no collection number; neither does it credit the winning illustrator. Regular-sized SM-P Promotional copies were subsequently given away to customers who purchased at least 5 booster packs from participating Pokémon Centers starting October 4, 2019. The card could be redeemed up to 4 times per person and the promotion ran for as long as stocks lasted. This version has a collection number and an illustrator credit. Both versions of this card feature the Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix logo above the Pokédex entry.
