Ember (Japanese: ひのこ Sparks) is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I that deals a small amount of damage.

Effect

Generation I

Ember does damage and has a 9.8% chance of burning the opponent.

Ember can't burn an opponent that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment.

Generation II and on

Same as Generation I, but with a 10% chance of causing a burn.
