Dan

Dan (Japanese: ダン Dan) is a character of the day who appeared in A Sandile Gusher of Change!.

Dan is a young boy who lives near a Spa Resort, a resort famous for its sand bath. Upon meeting Ash and Iris, he invited them to take a sand bath in their spa resort but suddenly, a group of Sandile started digging the sand and made thing worse for the gang. Later on, Dan explained to the pair about the Sandile incident that had been occurring quite often for a few days.

After the Sandile took Ash's Pikachu and Oshawott into the mountains, Dan tagged along, believing the reason the Sandile were scaring the people away was that the geysers were erupting. Later, it was revealed that the geysers had done more good than harm. They put Dan and his father back in business with a brand-new hot spring, which he treated Ash and Iris to.

He briefly reappeared in Ash's flashbacks in Here Comes the Trubbish Squad! and Dancing With the Ducklett Trio!.
