Billy Kametz

Billy Kametz (March 22, 1987 — June 9, 2022) was an American actor for the English dub of the Pokémon anime.

Biography

Kametz was born on March 22, 1987. As an adult, he became a voice actor and was involved with a number of Western cartoons. Kametz joined the Pokémon anime during Pokémon Journeys: The Series, where he voiced recurring character Ren, along with Ash's Rotom Phone. On June 11th, 2022, it was announced he had passed away two days prior due to complications with stage IV colon cancer.[1] A dedication to him appears in the credits of It's All in the Name! on Netflix.
