Battle Tower

Battle Tower are Battle Areas set up for Pokémon battles. Trainers register their Pokémon on the first floor and climb up the floors in a number of battles, fighting other trainers one by one. In later games, there are a number of rules that can also be changed within the tower - such as fighting in Double Battles against the other trainers. Trainers sometimes battle for bragging rights, but they are often rewarded with rare items, or points that can be used to buy rare items as well. In Hoenn, one of the Battle Towers is part of the Battle Frontier.

In the Sevii Islands, a smaller and simplified version of a Battle Tower can be found in the Trainer Tower.

The Battle Tower is a facility usable by trainers in three regions:

• Johto, on the north end of Route 40, please see Battle Tower (Johto)
• Hoenn, on an island south of Route 130, please see Battle Tower (Hoenn), in the anime, another Battle Tower of Hoenn was shown to exist in LaRousse City.
• Sinnoh, please see Battle Tower (Sinnoh)
• Kanto, in the anime, there is a Battle Tower located near Tohjo Falls, on the boarder between the Kanto and Johto regions.
