Blissey (Japanese: ハピナス Happinas) is a Pokémon that appeared, belonging to Nurse Joy in Ignorance is Blissey. Her English voice actress as both Chansey and Blissey is Rachael Lillis.
Ash and his friends had met up with Blissey in the Pokémon Center. Seeing that they were hungry, it prepared food for them but due to its over enthusiasm, it spilled the food on them. The more it tried to help, the more problems it caused.
When Team Rocket tried to steal food from the center, Jessie met Blissey and immediately recognised each other. Jessie then explains to James and Meowth that she had studied with Blissey, as a Chansey, in a Pokémon Nurse School together and were best friends. Jessie unfortunately did not qualify to become a nurse and quit the school. Chansey gave a part of the medal it had got as a nurse to Jessie so that they could remember each other. Blissey then gave Team Rocket most of the food in the pantry.
But this was soon found out and everyone blamed it. Jessie wanting to help her friend pretended that she had tricked Blissey into giving the food. She also faked attacking it to make Nurse Joy and the others believe her. They were soon blasted off but not before Jessie whispers to her friend to keep it a secret.
Blissey has also appeared in Jessie's flashback in One Big Happiny Family!.
