Hun (Japanese: バショウ Bashō) is a member of Team Rocket. He appeared along with his partner, Attila, in The Legend of Thunder! His Japanese voice actor is 森川智之 Toshiyuki Morikawa. Hun was male in the original Japanese version, however his gender was controversially changed to female in the English dubbed version. Later, analysis showed that Hun was never referred to as a female, as the only pronouns are used collectively with Attila to be "those men" or "those guys". So Hun appears to just be a male with a femal voice. As such, Hun will be referred to as a male for the rest of this article.

Name Origin

Hun's name is taken from Attila the Hun, a European king and warrior. His Japanese name is from 松尾芭蕉 Matsuo Bashō, a Japanese poet from the Edo period.

Pokémon

On Hand

He may or may not have up to two others, as the official art shows him with three Poké Balls.
